Christmas in Rwanda 2018

The one time a year where we can get the most of our kids in one place. While some visit relatives and others stay with friends, most of our students are thrilled to get a chance to see each other and share the day. Many of them grew up together in Noel orphanage but now attend different schools, others have forged friendships by being part of the WAL family so this day is a lot of fun and really special for all of us.

Students gather around to Skype with Audrey – our first US college student. This 30 minute call was really inspiring for all of them to understand how her hard work and determination led to her being able to pursue her dream of studying in America.
