MATTHEW LEUTWYLER
Founder, President

Matthew Leutwyler has worked in the entertainment industry for 22 years as a producer, director, and distributor. He has sold to or produced film for Paramount Pictures, Lionsgate, Samuel Goldwyn, Sony Pictures Classics, Starz Entertainment, HBO, Image Entertainment, Anchor Bay Entertainment, and Roadside Attractions. Outside of his career as a filmmaker, Matthew founded and oversees the non-profit WE ARE LIMITLESS, providing Rwandan and Congolese orphans with high-quality boarding school educations in addition to healthcare and other basic needs. He also spent 5 months building a restaurant in the capital city of Kigali that opened Jan 19, 2019.

CAITLIN DAHL

Caitlin began her career as an actress and has since appeared in numerous commercials, films and television productions, including, Nip/Tuck (FX), House M.D. (FOX), and American Horror Story (FX).  She also sings and plays lead guitar in her band The Dahls with her sister Melinda. Their music has been included on hit television shows and films including “Dumb and Dumber Too”, “Family Guy” and “Bones”. Caitlin and her twin sister Melinda formed their Production Company Dahlhouse Productions in 2006 where Caitlin has been the head writer, director and producer of the film and television division. Their most notable clients include: Guess, Guess by Marciano, G by Guess, Sexy Hair and Bosley Professional Strength. Her latest short film “Grown-Ups” premiered at the Los Angeles Independent Filmmakers Showcase in May of 2017 and has screened at numerous prestigious festivals around the country including the Oscar qualifying Rhode Island International Film Festival collecting a total of eight awards so far. Caitlin has volunteered for The Art of Elysium bringing music to children who are suffering from disease as well as worked for Oceana – non profit.

MELINDA DAHL

Melinda Dahl is a photographer, actress and musician living in Los Angeles. Raised in an artistic family in Toronto, Melinda began acting professionally at age 16. It was through photographing fellow performers in music and film that she began a lifelong fascination with documenting the arts. Melinda co-founded the production company Dahlhouse Productions with her twin sister Caitlin, specializing in creating cohesive visual content for arts, beauty and fashion clients. Her work has been featured in Launchpad Magazine, Guitar Magazine, 944 Magazine, and Campus Circle. Corporate clients include GUESS, SexyHair, Bosley Professional Strength, Oceana, Colorproof and Kareco.

Melinda’s fine art photography draws from her experience as a performer and songwriter and often serves as the visual accompaniment for the music of The Dahls. Her music has been featured in Film and television shows such as Dumb and Dumber To, Bones, and Ringer. He photography has been featured in the POV Evolving Gallery in Los Angeles. Melinda has volunteered for the non profit organizations The Art of Elysium, and Oceana.

VIRGINIA MCCARTHY

Virginia McCarthy earned her undergraduate degrees in Religious Studies and English, and her Masters Degree in Theology at St. Mary’s College of California. She taught religious studies at Moreau Catholic High School in Hayward, CA., from 1981-88. She has worked since 1997 as an Adjunct Professor at St. Mary’s College, teaching in the January Term session. From 1989 to 1998, she was active in the San Francisco Bay Area interfaith peace movement. From 1987 to the present she has worked full-time, part-time and in an on-call capacity at Christ the King Catholic parish in Pleasant Hill, CA., with a special focus on social justice ministry, liturgy, adult education and church reform. From 2000 to 2002 she worked at the Program Coordinator for the Jesuit Volunteer Corps, Southwest region, a directional position that included managing a staff of 5 field directors and over 100 volunteers placed in non-profit organizations serving the poor and marginalized throughout California and Arizona. She has organized and directed retreats, as well as acted as a retreat presenter and an adult education speaker.

FRANCINCE MCDOUGALL

An entertainment industry veteran, Francine has 25 years of experience as a producer of music videos and director of feature films, episodic television, commercials, and documentaries. Passionate about giving back, she has been a lifelong volunteer with non-profit organizations including Food on Foot (providing food and clothing to at-risk populations), Fresh Start (offering art programs and mentoring for undeserved children) and The Pablove Foundation (helping children living with cancer to find their creative voices through photography). Francine brings her entertainment industry and non-profit experience to We Are Limitless, helping raise awareness and financial support.

REBECCA WHITE

Accomplished and result-driven educator and clinician committed to social justice drawing upon thirty-eight years of experience in academic, clinical, and global health training and implementation. Currently Associate Professor and Interim Director of the Master’s in Psychiatry Master program online. Lived in Rwanda for five years working as a faculty member at University of Rwanda, University of Illinois at Chicago, Human Resources for Health, Rwandan Ministry of Health.

WENDY SELWYN

Wendy graduated with honors from UCLA and has been a supporter of numerous charities throughout her career. She has served on the board for PSLA – the Philanthropic Society of Los Angeles – which benefits the Chidren’s Institute – and she is a host of Safari Nights with Creative Visions –  a music fundraising event that provides relief for orphans at CURA Orphanage in Kenya. She is the founder and host of the annual “Children’s Art Party” – which encourages local children to paint, draw and design original pieces to be auctioned off to  buy toys for foster children – now entering its 7th year. She is currently producing a feature documentary film that follows an incredible story of survival of this orphaned from the Korean War.  Wendy is honored to be on the board of We Are Limitless and currently sponsors Divine, a 13 year old girl in the program.

ANGEL MUTESI

Angel is out director of operations in Rwanda. She worked for the non-profit Faith Victory Association (FVA) for 3 years as the Volunteer Coordinator before joining We Are Limitless in 2012. She is WAL’s “mother” to all of the children and regularly visits each student to make sure they are thriving in their boarding-school environment.
