Medical Checkups

Dec 27, 2017

Another story has been emerging that I wanted to share. It starts with our first student from 7 years ago. One that I met on my first trip to Rwanda. He was living at Noel Orphanage near the border of east DR Congo and had lived there since he was found on the side of the road as a newborn. It was a few days after the New year and no one was sure how old he was so they declared that he was born on Christmas Day.
Well, for those of you who know of this boy or have WAL medical checkups. There are few things better than helping a child get their health back But few things are worse than unexpected health issues. Long day in Gisenyi today but our girl is on the mend and we will bring our boy back to Kigali to see better doctors tomorrow and get him right again. BIG THANKS to our donors who allow us to have the money to seek good medical care for these determined and grateful young people.
