Christmas In Rwanda

Jan 19, 2017

42 travel hours, 2 missed flights, 4 countries and I finally made it to Kigali. Worst trip of my life but getting together 22 of our students to have a family dinner for Christmas was one of the most fulfilling days ever. We splurged and had pizzas, salad, milkshakes, pie and just about anything else they wanted. Probably not the healthiest meal but everyone had smiles on their faces all night long. Holiday donations allowed us to buy a small gift for every student. It also allowed us to give away a special prize for our two top students, Lillian and Joshua.
